Gone too soon: Pratyusha Banerjee commits suicide, friends express shock on Twitter

TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee's suicide sent a shock wave in the industry as her friends and colleagues struggled to accept the news as truth and not an April Fool's joke.

Pratyusha, who shot to fame as Anandi of Balika Vadhu, committed suicide at her Mumbai home on Friday. She was reportedly depressed due to some discord with her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh.

As soon as the news broke, Pratyusha's friends and fans took to Twitter to express shock and grief at her death. While some said Pratyusha was too strong to take such a drastic step, some were speechless.
