Millhouse (Slough) Ltd has applied to redevelop a site in Slough, creating a seven-storey, 99-room hotel with retail units on the ground floor.
The mixed-use scheme also includes a conference room and gym in the basement level and two further basement levels for car parking.
The site sits on Bath Road on the corner Slough Trading Estate, so Millhouse predicts it will be mainly serving business travellers to the estate.
A three-storey office building in Slough, which has been vacant for approximately ten years, would need to be demolished before building could begin.
Slough Borough Council approved plans for an 81-bedroom hotel on the site a year ago, which bodes well for these current plans.
