Pratyusha Banerjee was all of 24. The actress shone with her debut on Balika Vadhu and people recognized her as a good actress. Today, we got the news that she committed suicide at home by hanging herself. Later, she was rushed to Kokilaben Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The buzz is she hung herself somewhere in early evening in the period of 4 to 5pm. The reason behind the drastic step is that her boyfriend had apparently ditched her and got engaged elsewhere. She was seeing producer Rahul Raj Singh and in December she told everyone that she was planning to settle down in 2016. The actress was very serious about Rahul and she apparently spoke to him before taking the drastic step. It looks like she was extremely hurt this time as well with Rahul reportedly leaving her for someone else. The family is demanding strict action against him for emotional trauma. The actress' mother will be giving a statement to the police in a couple of days. Friends and family at the hospital are distraught.
