Three youths held with 560g of ganja

The Kalloorkad Police have arrested three youths with 560g ganja on Thursday. The arrested have been identified as Ansal, his younger brother Afsal and Sulfikar. The trio admitted to selling ganja to school and college students. All the three accused have been remanded in judicial custody.
Police warning to residents on summer vacations: Police have issued directions to all residents in the city regarding the measures to be taken while they are away from home during the summer vacations.The directions are as follows: Firstly, do not keep valuables in the houses. Secondly, avoid piling up newspapers/milk at the doorstep. Thirdly, Inform neighbours and always ensure enough light in the surroundings of the home at night.
Krishnamachari, Komu bag GoodHomes award: Bose Krishnamachari and Riyas Komu, co-founders of Kochi Biennale Foundation, were presented the GoodHomes 2015 award in recognition of their contribution to art.
