Lenka Srinu (M.Tech. -Mineral Processing) of Nandihalli PG Centre and Begum Ashrun Sultana (M.Com.) of Vijayanagar College, Hosapete, came out with flying colours at the fourth convocation of the Vijayanagar Sri Krishnadevaraya Univeristy (VSKU) here by clinching three gold medals each. Governor Vajubhai Vala, who is also the Chancellor, gave away the gold medals. Of the 23 gold medallists, 15 were won by girls and eight by boys.
Ekta Shirke (M.Sc. - Industrial Chemistry) of VSKU, H.M. Pushpavathi (M.Tech. - Mineral Processing) Nandihalli, Sherin Taj (M.Sc. -Physics) Vijayanagar College, and Neelamma G.B. (M.Sc. -Chemistry) VSKU bagged two gold medals each. Ramya Kiran B.P (BBM) Ballari, Bharathi (B.Com.) Gangavathi, Neelamma G.B. (M.Sc. -Chemistry) Ballari, A.K. Rama (MA) Nandihalli, Ganganagoudara Uma (MA) Nandihalli, H. Anjaneya (MA) Nandihalli, R. Sirisha, (M.Com.) Nandihalli, Sushmitha Jain (M.Sc.) Ballari, Sreevaishnavi K, (M.Sc.) Ballari, Raghavendra (MA) Ballari, Sreekanth S.T. (MA) Ballari, Nagarj (MA) Ballari, Mohammed Farzana Begum (MBA) Ballari, Shalini K.B. (B.Sc.) Kottur, Aishwarya K. (BA), Hosapete, M. Ganesh (B.Sc.) Hosapete, B. Lavanya (BCA) Ballari, and G. Manjunath (MA) Ballari bagged one gold medal each.
