POONCH, Mar 28: Surankote police today nabbed a chemist shop owner and recovered banned drugs and medicines from his possession.
As per reports, based upon some specific inputs, police team intercepted a person namely Rashid Mehmood, son of Mohammad Saleem, a resident of Mastandhara Surankote, who is running a chemist shop.
During frisking, police seized large number of banned medicines and drugs from his possession which injections.
A case under FIR number 41/16 under Section 8/20/21 NDPS Act has been registered at Surankote police station and investigation started.
Police team led by DySP Surankote, Riaz Tantray and SHO Surankote Charanjeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Poonch JS Johar.
