Shimla, March 28
The Himachal Lokhit Party (HLP) today took a dig at the BJP saying the party which was favouring the India-Pakistan match in Dharamsala had got a befitting reply from the people of Kangra district in the civic body elections.
HLP general secretary Subhash Sharma, spokesperson Deshbandhu Sood, Yuva Sena president Gaurav Sharma and Mahila Morcha president Rama Guleria said former chief minister PK Dhumal and Kangra senior leader and MP Shanta Kumar had gone door-to-door for votes, but the people had shown them their place.
The HLP leaders also dismissed the victory claims of the Congress.
