It is the inclusion of the plane that nicely balances the frame. A news picture and a work of art! While at first glance the image looks artistic, it gives you an idea of the expanse of the disturbing problem – the garbage dump and overhanging smoke, a serious health hazard.

A global phenomenon led by the dramatic image of the Pope himself washing the feet of a migrant. While that image captured a historic gesture that would go a long way in calming heightened emotions over religion etc, this image spreads its own peace message at a time society is seeing much violence against women.
