Taxi-truck collision kills 6, 7 injured

Raisen, MP, Mar 28 (UNI) Six people, including a woman, were killed and seven others injured when their taxi collided with a truck near Sultanpur, 50 km from this district headquarters, in the wee hours today, police said.
The victims, who hailed from Mahorjhir in Chhindwara, were en route to Karila in Ashoknagar district to take part in a fair organised on the occasion of Rangpanchami when the incident occurred at around 0300 hrs.
Four deceased were identified as Rahul (24), Ramesh (25), Suneeta (26) and Sahib Singh (30). Two deceased were yet to be identified. The injured were admitted to hospital here.
