Multi-masking. Say it for me. Multi-masking.

Get used to saying it, because it's a thing now, and I know how you readers like to be little know-it-alls!

Multi-masking is when you apply multiple face masks, to different parts of your face at once, solving multiple skincare concerns in one fell swoop. Using just one mask, all over your face, is so 2015.

I remember when I worked as a beauty therapist, we would use this approach on clients - we called it a customised facial - mixing up our own masks and using different ingredients for different parts of the face.

It's because the skin on the various areas of your face is not all the same. The forehead, nose and chin have the highest concentration of oil glands, while the outer corners of the eyes have much fewer of them.

Here's how to multi-mask like a boss - just try these amazing multi-masking combos and get better skin, faster.

For example, for my oily T-zone area - that's across the forehead, nose and chin - I use a GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment, €52, to draw out impurities, then I use Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask, €45, on my cheeks, while on my eyes I pop on these Elemis Pro-Collagen Hydra-Gel Eye Masks, above, €53 for six pairs.

Finally, on my lips, I use Decleor Intense Nutrition Lip Balm, €12, to replenish moisture and protect from dryness.

After my home-spa sesh, my skin always looks and feels fabilis!

Triona's trick

I have a three-in-a-bed sitch going on at the mo. No, not like that! Basically, my baby Mini sleeps in the bed with Will and me. I know, I know! Anyhoo, my mini-me helps me plait my hair before bed, after washing it, and, in the morning, when I pull out the plaits and comb through with my fingers to break up the waves, my hair is then done for the day.

Seen, not heard

I always say jewellery should be seen and not heard. It drives me nuts if I'm wearing a load of bangles and they clank really loudly, or I have on chandelier earrings that clickety-click as I'm running about.

It's like a little piece of jewellery to carry around in your handbag, and it looks divine when you pull it out for a spritz. Everyone always comments on it .

The scent itself is a gorgeous blend of Casablanca lily and ylang ylang, alongside sandalwood and grey amber.

Shelbourne scent

I'm reminded of gorgeous Hollywood actress Eva Mendes, above, when I smell Grande Dame, €80, The Spa at the Shelbourne, the striking and seductive new eau de parfum inspired by The Shelbourne.

It has been created for the top Dublin hotel by Galway-based perfumers Cloon Keen Atelier, who are known for telling a story through scent.

The skilled perfumers took the hotel's vivid paintings by Victor Richardson - featuring views of The Shelbourne from St Stephen's Green - as a starting point for the fragrance.

It features summer geranium - a strong element of the planting in St Stephen's Green - with rose petals and saffron, rose absolute and spiced iris, reminiscent of the hotel's beautiful floral displays.

Meanwhile, oriental notes in the perfume are a nod to the Nubian statues at the front of the iconic five-star hotel. See shelbournespa.ie

Triona's most wanted

I was backstage recently at Armani's autumn/winter 2016 show in Milan, where I met the maestro himself, Mr Armani, tweaking things to perfection before the models were even allowed on the runway.

He was so hands-on, he was even doing the models' hair himself.

Now, I've been backstage at fashion shows in London, Paris, New York and Milan for over 20 years and I can tell you, I have never seen such attention to detail.

It's this precise passion Mr Armani has that translates so well into everything he does, especially with the Armani make-up range, which, as regular readers will know, I'm just mad about.

I spotted make-up artist Linda Cantello using the High Precision Retouch concealer, above, €32.50, Brown Thomas, on the models before the show, and decided I needed to try it out myself.

I feel I need a really good under-eye concealer, for a more 'polished' look, when I'm on TV, and this product definitely delivers that.

It's a radiance-providing concealer so it can be used as both a concealer and a highlighter, if required.

This makes it ideal for concealing without appearing 'cakey' or looking obvious on my skin. It also blurs imperfections, and the teeny, tiny brush is unbelievable.

Best of all, you only need to use the tiniest amount as it spreads really well.

Cult product

I'm a total tag-hag and my latest obsesh is with all things Fendi, especially anything with 'Monster Eyes' - one of the brand's signature motifs.

I have the shoes and now I need the cosmetics case, above, €230, netaporter.com, to store my beauty booty. I feel it would be an investment, as it could double as an evening bag when I'm travelling, and, because I never check in luggage, I'll put the money I've saved, by bringing carry-on, towards it.
