Legendary batsman Javed Miandad refuses to attend the meeting

KARACHI (Dunya News) –Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shehryar Khan on Sunday stated that it has become essential to introduce changes in the Pakistani team and the management after its terrible performance in the ICC World Twenty20 2016, reported Dunya News.

While talking to Dunya News on phone, PCB Chairman said that the fact-finding committee made to bring forth the reasons behind the team s dismal performance in the mega event, is doing its job well. He added that he shall meet the team coach Waqar Younis and team manager Intikhab Alam in Karachi after the meeting of the fact-finding committee. Shehryar stated that prompt decisions shall be made once the report is issued by the fact-finding committee.

However, former Pakistani batting legend Javed Miandad has refused to show up for this meeting. He expressed his discontentment with PCB stating that the board did not took him into any consideration while the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was ongoing, adding that those responsible for the team’s poor performance should leave their designations on their own.
