Two arrested for rape

Kochi: Angamaly police on Saturday arrested two men, Suresh (36) and Hyju Frederick (36), for allegedly raping a 19-year-old college girl.
"The girl has a boyfriend, who brought her to Ernakulam on March 20 promising to register their marriage. They first checked into a hotel in Kaloor. Next day, he handed over the girl to his friend and he, later presented her to his two friends, who have now been arrested.The girl's boyfriend and his immediate friend, are still at large," said an officer. The arrested were produced at the Angamaly JFMC and were later remanded to judicial custody. TNN
