3 die as vehicle plunges into river

SHANGLA  - At least three persons died when a vehicle plunged into river at Karorah area in Shangla district on Saturday.
According to details, a Mazda vehicle bearing no-APL-2016 was on way from Besham to downtown when suddenly it slipped because of rain and resultantly fell into a deep Khankhwar river at Karora.
The gushing waters swift away the vehicle mercilessly. As a result of which, all the three persons identified as Sheraz son of Faridun Khan, ezatmand son of Toor Khan and driver Niaz Wali son of Bakht Mareen died.
Locals after hectic efforts recovered the two dead-bodies some two kilometres away from the site where the vehicle had sunk. Efforts were underway to recover the dead body of the driver Niaz Wali.
All the deceased belonged to same village Faridabad. The locals complained that the road has been constructed by the NHA without having safety wall with a purpose to minimize such risks on the way, because it was the second incident of the same nature in the current month.
