Mar 26 (UNI) : Andhra Pradesh government in the House today informed that an extent of 45,743 acres has been acquired for Polavaram Irrigation Project. After bifurcation of the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh, 297 habitations are transferred from Khammam district of Telangana and merged into Andhra Pradesh.
