DGP JV Ramudu on Thursday underlined the need for creation of more awareness among the public in meeting the challenges being thrown by the militant groups.

Reacting to a question, he said that terrorism is gradually becoming a global phenomenon which is evidenced daily by way of media reports in one form or another. Adequate steps are being taken by the governments of both the Telugu speaking states to tackle the terror and further opined that more awareness among the public is required.

Extolling the arrangements being extended by the TTD, he hypothesized an increase in the turnout of the pilgrim crowd in the coming days.

Earlier he along with his wife offered prayers at the hill temple. Tirupati (urban) SP Gopinath Jatti also accompanied him.
