Monaco defender Elderson Echiejile has finally joined the Super Eagles squad in Kaduna and trained with the Eagles on Wednesday ahead of their 2017 African Nations Cup qualifying game against the Pharaohs of Egypt.
The Eagles squad is now complete with the arrival of Echiejile. His arrival should be a relief to coach Samson Siasia who will be without defenders Kenneth Omeruo and Leon Balogun, who are both nursing injuries.
Eagles had their first training session on Tuesday morning at the National Stadium, Abuja, and then trained for the second time on Tuesday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna. On Wednesday, their training was partially open to the media and supporters.
Journalists and fans were given the opportunity to watch the first fifteen minutes of the training session before the team went into a behind-closed-doors training session.
