I learnt my lesson when Aurangzeb didn't do well: Arjun Kapoor

I am a practical person. I won't turn around and say that Tevar was an extraordinary film that the audience didn't give a chance to.

Arjun Kapoor, who is currently busy with the promotions of Ki & Ka, has had a fair mix of highs and lows in his career. But he says that he is never discouraged by criticism. “In fact, I take criticism fairly well, when Aurangzeb didn’t do well I learnt my lesson. And for Finding Fanny, there was so much appreciation but then it didn’t do very well at the box office.”

The fate of Tevar affected him a little more than the other misses. “Emotionally, Tevar hurt me a bit more because my father had produced the film. I am a practical person. I won’t turn around and say that Tevar was an extraordinary film that the audience didn’t give a chance to. Something must have gone wrong on our part while making it. I still don’t feel it was a bad film. But every film doesn’t have the destiny to do as well as others. If I had to give my success to somebody it would be to my family. I wish things had aligned better. But I believe that if you are good with praise, then you should be good with criticism too.”
