Man arrested while planning biz partner's murder

GURGAON: A man hailing from Unnao in Uttar Pradesh was arrested with illegal weapons in Sector-46. The accused was arrested after cops received a tip off that a suspicious man is roaming in the area. The crime unit-IX received information that a suspicious man is roaming outside HUDA Park sector-46 market and he probably is also carrying weapons.
A police raid was immediately conducted in the area to nab the man.Police recovered a country made pistol and four live cartridges from the accused name Sonu.
He told the Police that he came to Gurgaon four years ago. He initially worked as an electrician in partnership with a man named Ranjit in Mulakhera. But later, Sonu decided to start his own business which caused a rift between the partners. Ranjit poached Sonu’s employees which soured the relations further and the duo had a fight.
Angry Sonu purchased the weapon and ammunition. He then went to sector 51 in order to kill Ranjit but couldn’t succeed in his plan. He was looking for another opportunity when he was arrested by the police.
An FIR has been filed at Sadar police station under sections 25-54-59 Arms Act.
