Wipro announces scholarships for girl students

In a move to encourage girl students belonging to weaker sections, Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares have announced Santoor Scholarship programme.

The annual programme caters to the candidates across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka where they can pursue diploma or any other course for a minimum of two years. Those who passed out Class X and XII in any government school or college are eligible to apply for scholarships.

Applications will be available at government junior colleges and candidates are requested to go through the application process to meet the eligibility criteria where a scholarship amount of Rs.36,000 per annum can be availed. Sixty per cent of scholarships will be given to those who pursue higher education in the fields of humanities, liberal arts and science.
