Complaint filed against Ameesha Patel for no show at School annual function

Tarun Rupani, director of Dalimss Sunbeam School, Chaubeypur, on March 8, 2016, filed a complaint in a local court in Varanasi, against actress Ameesha Patel for not attending the school annual function in December 2015, despite having taken Rs 3 lakh as advance, reported Hindustan Times. The complaint has been filed against Patel, her two managers, Kunal Kumar and Anil Jain, and her personal security guard, Sharif.

The report quoted Rupani claiming that the school authorities had invited Ameesha to attend their annual function on December 18, 2015. The authorities then got in touch with her managers and her security guard.
Rupani further stated in the same report that the school had deposited Rs 3 lakhs in Ameesha's account in two instalments, booked return tickets for the actress, her managers and her guard and also made arrangements for their stay in the city. However, the actress did not turn up and the managers stopped taking calls too.
Reportedly, the school had heavily publicised the event and so a huge crowd turned up at the function to catch a glimpse of the actress. However, the actress' no-show move left the school authorities red-faced.
The court has accepted the school's complaint and fixed a hearing of the case on April 7, 2016.
