Trans-gender among four injured in clashes

JAMMU, Mar 18: Four persons including a trans-gender received injuries in clashes in various areas, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
As per police sources, two groups of trans-genders entered into verbal dual and later assaulted each other with sticks, resulting into injuries to two persons including a trans-gender.
The injured were shifted to Marh hospital, from where they were later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for advanced treatment.
The injured have been identified as Rakesh Kumar, son of Ashok Kumar, a resident of Muthi Daskal and Kajal (trans-gender), a resident of Akhnoor.
Meanwhile, Vipan Sharma, son of Kamal, a resident of Sangrampur received injuries in assault and was referred to GMCH from Marh Hospital.
In another case, Amit Saini, son of Ramesh Saini, a resident of Sarore, Akalpur also received injuries in assault and was shifted to Marh Hospital from where he was later referred to GMCH for advanced treatment.
Cases have been registered at Domana police station and investigation started.
