Shootout in Hazratganj area: one killed

Lucknow, Mar 18 (UNI) Rivalry between contractors seeking railway tenders witnessed bloodbath in the posh Hazratganj area when a youth was shot dead by his rival at the backside of the Divisional Railway Manager(DRM) office here today, police sources said.
One Pappu Singh of Alambagh of the state capital shot dead Ashish Pandey(35), who had come to the DRM office for his tender.
Two assailants shot at Ashish from a close range and fled away by snatching a scooty from a person.
