Gujarat CM to dedicate/launch works for development works in Bhavnagar

Gujarat Chief Minister Smt Anandiben Patel will on March 21 dedicate/launch works for Rs 3745.43 lakh development works in Bhavnagar district.
– Ground breaking of Rs 518 lakh children observation home.
– Ground breaking of Rs 1785.43 lakh Gariadhar – Palitana road widening project.
– Ground breaking of Rs 950 lakh Dungpur-Jaliya-Kathsani-Hastgiri road widening project.
– Inauguration of Rs 715 lakh new bus station of Palitana.
– Rs 317 lakh police station, police line, 24 residential quarters and CCTV camera network.
The Chief Minister will also launch a video ‘Bhavnagar:Samvedana thi Sakshamata taraf ek pahel’, and a website ‘Saksham Bhavnagar’.
District Collector in his briefing said the drinking water problem of Palitana has been resolved through Rs 1180 lakh project while Rs 26 crore drainage project is near completion. 17 light poles and 157 street lights are erected at a cost of Rs 610 lakh to resolve the problem of light in foothills area. Notification has been issued for pollution free Palitana. Some roads are declared one-way to counter the traffic problem. Public private partnership has been adopted for health facilities. Songadh-Palitana road will be converted to four lane with 2.35 meter walking path. A master plan is being made to develop Palitana as famous pilgrim page in next 25 years.
The Chief Minister is coming to Palitana to attend Shri Shatrunjay Adinath Mahima Mahotsav – 2016 which is going to be held during 20-22 March. Such Mahotsav is being held after 60 years according to district collector Shri Banchhanidhi Pani. It is being held along with 6 gau yatra festival.
