Chennai students among winners at 'Advance to Australia India Schools Video Competition'
CHENNAI: Students of Vael’s International School, Chennai, were among those who won prizes at the 'Advance to Australia India Schools Video Competition 2015.’
The competition, which is aimed at young Indian filmmakers, was conducted by the Cambridge English Language Assessment (Part of the University of Cambridge) and the Australian Trade Commission. The results were announced recently.

Thousands of students from schools across the country participated in the competition.
The winners list included four students from Vael’s International School: Meha Gandhi and Nudhara Yusuf who worked on the topic of marine sciences; and Oviya Vendan and Pranav Sakthivel on creative animation.
Students from Chennai Public School and Lakshmi Garden Matric Higher Secondary School, Vellore, were runners-up.
The students, who won prizes at the competition, will be visiting Australia as part of it.
