Passenger sustain injuries after assault by a private complex bus for not giving Rs 5 change

A passenger sustained injuries after a private complex vehicle that ferry's passengers too and fro to Thane station from Ghodbunder road allegedly assaulted a
passenger who did not give Rs 5 change.
Sukhram Tayde 52, sustained minor injuries after the assault and sent to Thane civil hospital for further treatment.
The police said that the cleaner of the bus pushed him outside bus following which the other passengers got enraged and pelted stone on the bus against the rowdy behaviour of the cleaner.
The injured is treated while the cleaner is detained and the process of registering offence is underway, said a senior police officer.
