Rajiv Gandhi assassination case convict Nalini complains of chest pain

Nalini Sriharan, a life convict in the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, was taken to Government Vellore Medical College Hospital on Thursday for checkup. Sources in the prison department said Nalini had been suffering from palpitation since her father's demise last month.

VELLORE: Nalini Sriharan, a life convict in the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, was taken to Government Vellore Medical College Hospital on Thursday for checkup.
Sources in the prison department said Nalini had been suffering from palpitation since her father's demise last month.
She complained of chest pain to the prison authorities on Wednesday. Following this, a prison doctor examined her and told that she had abnormal heartbeat.
The prison doctor referred her to GVMCH for a medical checkup.
She was taken to the hospital at 8 am amid tight security.
