Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna is reportedly yet to take a final call on the script and director of his 100th movie. Krish aka Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi and Krishna Vamsi are said to be in the race to bag the project.

Speculations about Balakrishna's 100th film started doing the rounds much before the release of his 99th film "Dictator." Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, Boyapati Srinu, Krish, Krishna Vamsi and few other directors' names were linked with this highly-anticipated project. Recently, it was rumoured that Krish and Krishna are the top contenders for the work.

Both Krish Jagarlamudi and Krishna Vamsi have narrated two different scripts to Balakrishna, who is yet to finalise one of the two. "Although a few days back, director Krishna Vamsi declared that Balakrishna had chosen him to direct his 100th film, it looks like director Krish is still in the race as Balakrishna, who is impressed by both their scripts, is yet to lock one," a source close to the actor told IANS.

Balakrishna's last outing "Dictator" has done an average business at the box office. Hence, the actor is carefully selecting the script for the landmark film of his career. He is likely to announce its details by the end of this month. "Since it is his 100th project, he is being extra careful. He wants to choose to right script and doesn't mind waiting a few more months in the process," the source added.

Director Krish was to work once again with Varun Tej in "Rayabhari" after the release of "Kanche," but the project was shelved due to high budget estimations. He has his next Hindi film lined for shooting. On the other hand, Krishna Vamsi has also got horror fantasy film titled "Rudraksha," which he has kept on hold for Balakrishna's 100th movie.
