Nayaki will be my first and last movie as a hero: Satyam Rajesh

Having tasted success with two back to back releases, Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gaadha and Kshanam, comedian Satyam Rajesh is on a high. ���It feels like I���ve had a cinematic rebirth,��� says the actor who is looking forward to the release of Trisha-starrer Nayaki.
���Nayaki will be my first and last movie as a hero,��� Satyam Rajesh says adding, ���I am not a hero, I am an artiste.I realised being a hero is a completely different ballgame.���
Playing a hero against a star like Trisha is definitely a big scale up for the actor who seemed to have got all the support he needed from the film���s director, Goverdhan. ���I have to thank Goverdhan for fighting to make sure I stayed the lead in this film despite a lot of people arguing against it.���
Sharing his relationship with the director he says, ���Goverdhan has wanted to make me the hero of his movie since 2008, and I hadn���t even worked with him ever. His conviction in me was one of the major reasons why I did agree to play the lead,��� he shares. When questioned if he would be focussing on playing only protagonist���s role from here on, he said, ���After acting in 350 movies and spending 12 years as an actor, playing myriad roles and trying to be a hero doesn���t make any sense. I���m open to playing good roles ��� negative ones, comedy, supporting roles ��� but definitely not the hero,��� he explains.
