Taye Diggs and Laura San Giacomo guest star as Gibbs reopens the case of an ambush on a group of Special Ops soldiers in Iraq by questioning the wounded lone survivor (Diggs). The episode features a special performance by the The MusiCorps Wounded Warrior Band, a group made up of injured veterans.

For those keeping track of season finales — never easy when it comes to TNT series, here’s another one. The show exits with the team tracking the mastermind behind the attacks on Jane, thanks to a discovery linked to the murder of a state trooper.

Of Kings and Prophets

If you skipped the premiere of this ludicrous pseudo-Biblical epic — with a Saul who wandered in from a London mob movie and a David who got lost on his way to an audition for Aladdin — congratulate yourself on making the right choice. Still, if curiosity has now gotten the better of you, this second outing finds Saul on the outs with the prophet Samuel, and facing certain defeat by a more powerful Philistine army and its champion, Goliath. Even in this badly bowdlerized version of the story, odds are still good David will come to the rescue, but not yet.
