For quite some time now, popular show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" has been in the news for an impending leap. According to latest reports, it appears the makers are finally gearing up for the leap and will also introduce new cast on the show.

According to a report in the Times of India, the show will soon take an eight-year leap, and child artistes, including Ruhanika Dhawan, who plays the adorable Ruhi, will bid the show farewell.

While there is no confirmation from the makers regarding the leap, Aditi Bhatia, who was last seen on "Tashan-e-Ishq" will reportedly play the role of a grown-up Ruhi. However, the actress chose not to divulge much on it. "It's not finalised yet," Aditi told the daily.

Besides Aditi, television actor Bhavesh Bimani is expected to play the role of grown-up Shravan, while Kavya Ramani may essay the role of Simran Bhalla's daughter Ananya. "Bhavesh Jaiswal, who plays Shravan Bala Chandran, will give charge to his namesake Bhavesh Bimani. Kavya Ramani will play Simran Bhalla's (Shireen Mirza) daughter Ananya," a source said.

Meanwhile, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein" is getting interesting ever since Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) re-entered the Bhalla household in a new avatar. Ishita, who shown to have died in the show, made a comeback as Shanaya. Her entry has been planned by Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita, as they want to take revenge on Ashok (Sangram Singh) and Nidhi (Pavitra Punia) for ruining their lives.

In the recent episodes, Raman and Ishita came to know Nidhi bribed the judge who handled Ishita's case. Nidhi has a chip that can prove Ishita is not guilty of murdering advocate Chaddha (Lalit Bisht), and the couple was seen trying to find the chip.
