Free eye camp conducted

Municipal chairperson P. Ramakrishna inaugurated a free eye camp organised by Pushpagiri Eye Hospital at Dasannapeta here on Sunday. Appreciating the hospital management for holding the camp, he appealed to medical practitioners to create awareness among people on diabetes as diabetics are prone to losing eye sight. The doctors at the camp examined 238 patients and recommended 46 of them for cataract surgery. BJP leader M. Madhu, and Telugu Yuvatha district president K. Narasinga Rao were present.
