Ludhiana, March 11
A 3-year-old girl was found allegedly raped and dumped near an area where migrants lived near a bus stand in Manjit Nagar on Saturday.
Dr Baldeep of Ludhiana’s Deep Hospital, where the child was brought in a grave condition, confirmed the rape and said the child’s throat was slit but her windpipe remained untouched. She is currently undergoing an operation.
The child lived with her parents in the slums near a railway track in Manjit Nagar.
