JAMMU, Mar 12: Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Bansi Lal Bhat has declined permission for Jagrata at Dussehra Ground, Gandhi Nagar.
After hearing Advocate PS Parmar for the petitioner whereas AAG L K Moza for the State and Advocate Aprajita Jamwal for the PIL, DB observed, “in the light of final orders passed and having regard to the fact that the permission sought for is other than the sports activity, no direction can be issued”.
With these observations, Division Bench dismissed the application whereby permission was sought for organizing Jagran on April 23 and 24 at Dussehra Ground.
