Doon Dronas defeatedc Almora Stars by two wickets in the Uttarakhand Cricket League 2016 being played in Dehradun on Thursday.

Batting first, Almora Stars scored 138 runs losing 9 wickets. Saurav Rawat scored the highest 42 runs for Almora Stars. Dhanraj Sharma took 4 wickets in his 3 overs' spell for Doon Dronas.

Doon Dronas easily got the target losing 9 wickets in the process and won the match by two wickets. S Bhatt scored the highest 43 runs for Doon Dronas. Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Harish Rawat inaugurated the tournament in presence of Doiwala MLA Hira Singh Bisht.
