Govt admits many villages lack gauchar land
Ahmedabad: In written reply to a question raised by Tejashree Patel, Congress MLA from Viramgam, the state government has admitted in the assembly that 83 villages in Ahmedabad district, and another 18 villages in Gandhi nagar, do not have any gauchar land. Patel had specifically asked about the status of gauchar land in villages belonging to Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar districts.
