Nashik: Renowned painter Sharvari Luth has been invited to participate as a solo artist in the second edition of the Global Art Fair (GAF), a novel initiative to promote contemporary art in Dubai. The event will take place from March 10 to 13.
Sharvari, who specializes in abstract and semi abstract paintings in the medium of oil and acrylics on canvas, will exhibit her series 'Celebrating Art' at the exhibition.

"I am spiritual person who believe in positivity. Life is beautiful and meant to be celebrated. This thought reflects in my paintings too. I have used unpredictable bright colours in my contemporary series providing a stark contrast to the sombre predominant blacks, grey and white, adding credence to the painting," she said. The proceeds of sale of her paintings will be utilized for the education of rural and underprivileged children.
Global Art Fair will have participation of over 100 artists from the UAE, India, Turkey, Switzerland, Pakistan and Indonesia, along with reputed galleries like Cymroza Art Gallery Mumbai, Mynmar Gallery Dubai, Secolo Gallery Italy, Mangalore Art Hub, and Art Kanara Mangalore. It will have art works from M F Hussain, Satish Gujral, Samir Mondal, Yusuf Arrakal, Vrindavan Solanki and others as well.
An architect by qualification, Sharvari works in colour Consultancy, colour therapy, landscape designing and interiors. She has been active in the field for more than two decades and has etched her thoughts and emotions on more than 500 paintings. She has been a sought after artist in north Europe and Asia in the last few years.
