Tight lipped about his future plans, Shashi Kiran who made his maiden foray in to the ultra-luxury housing segment with Planet SKS said, "I have land banks in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Mumbai." All that he hinted was any future project that he would venture in to will be a state of the art project.

Mangaluru: He now has the option to heli-hop between his soon to be build pad on Carter Road in Mumbai's suburb Bandra to the tallest completed residential project in Karnataka - Planet SKS in namma Kudla. All set for inauguration on Saturday, SKS planet standing 40-storeys tall, including three basement car park floors is the legacy that Shashi Kiran Shetty, executive chairperson of Allcargo Logistics, part of Avvashya Group wants to leave behind in this coastal city.
Boasting of a DGCA approved helipad, Shashi Kiran Shetty indulgently smiled at the idea of heli hopping between his soon to be constructed house on Carter Road, a property that he acquired from Bollyhood superstar Rajesh Khanna, to the pent house that he owns at Planet SKS.
"It could also be that I take a helicopter ride to Mangaluru International Airport at Kenjar, a short drive away from Planet SKS or land in one right on top of Planet SKS," Shashi Kiran told TOI.
Describing the project as his contribution to this coastal city along with architect Sanath Kumar Shetty, Shashi Kiran said, "Planet SKS will be a great address for Mangaloreans to be associated with." Incidentally, with 75% of the 171 apartments already sold, Shashi Kiran said, a majority of the buyers spread all across the globe including the Middle East, New York, and London have some connection to this coastal city and hence have invested in this venture of his.
