Bhadsu champions, Royal Game Challengers register big wins

BAJALTA, Feb 24: Bhadsu Champions registered a big win over Sidhra Youth Himmatwalas while Royal Game Challengers Toll Post Nagrota  Champions defeated Surinsar Bakerwal Scorpions on Wednesday in the Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament, an initiative of MLA Devender Singh Rana.
In the first match Bhadsu Champions won the toss, elected to bat first and scored 109 runs at the loss of eight wickets in the prescribed 14 overs. Chasing 110 to win , Sidhra Youth Himmatwalas scored only 94 losing all wickets. Badsoo Champions won the match by 16 runs. Varun, who scored 26 runs and got one wicket was declared as Man of the Match.
In the second match,  Royal Game Challengers Toll Post Nagrota  Champions won the toss and elected to bat first. The team scored 141 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 14 overs. Maintaining edge in the bowling also, the Royal Game Challengers Toll Post Nagrota contained Surinsar Bakerwal Scorpions  at only 82 runs after taking six wickets in 14 overs.
Royal Game Challengers Toll Post Nagrota won the match by 60 runs. Moin Khan  was declared as Man of the Match for his blistering 54 of 22 balls.
The matches were officiated by Saleem ur Rehman from the Department of Youth Services and Sports and Sadiq Hussain Malik.
A large number of cricket lovers watched the two matches played at Bajalta play-field. Prominent among them were Advocate Subhash, Sarpanch Surinsar
Rehmat Ali and Sarpanch Bajalta, Master Jagdish Kumar besides vice president Takeone Television Faheem Tak.
