Two Egyptian policemen killed, one injured in Sinai

CAIRO, Feb 13 (KUNA) -- Two Egyptian policemen were killed and another one wounded when they were trying to defuse an explosive device at Karam Al-Qawadis checkpoint in Sinai, said a spokesman for the Egyptian army on Saturday.
While some personnel of the armed forces were combing and carrying out raids on some areas, which include "terrorist activities", they discovered the explosive device planted in the site, he added in a statement.
The explosive device exploded before defusing it, killing two policemen and injuring another one, he noted. (end) asm.hm
