Belarus called Friday on all parties concerned to consolidate their efforts in support of the Ukraine peace process and the implementation of agreements on the Ukrainian crisis.

Belarus Foreign Ministry said in a statement that despite difficulties and challenges in the implementation of the Minsk agreements, there is no alternative but to push forward it.

The appeal came on the anniversary of the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements.

Noting that there is still a long way toward a comprehensive settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, the ministry warned that not only the well-being of the Ukrainian people is at stake but also the security of the whole European continent.

Belarus is ready to continue to do everything possible to restore peace in Ukraine, and to strengthen stability and security in the OSCE area as a whole, the ministry said.

On Feb. 12, 2015, the leaders of the Normandy Four consisting of Germany, Russia, France and Ukraine gathered in the Belarusian capital to forge a ceasefire in the eastern Ukraine and agree on a roadmap for a peaceful resolution of the crisis. Endit
