Maruti Suzuki unveiled the much awaited Vitara Brezza at the 2016 Auto Expo and the company has also started accepting advance bookings for an amount of Rs. 21,000/- for the new compact SUV while the launch is scheduled in March. It was recently spied in five different colours along with the base variant at the automaker’s stock yard outside its facility in Manesar, Haryana where the SUV will be produced.

Three of the five colours spied included the red with black roof, cyan blue with white roof and the golden yellow with white roof that were showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo while the remaining two were mono-tone colours – pearl white and metallic grey. The dual-tone shades are expected to be offered only with the top-end variants.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza spied in pearl white colour seems to be the base variant of the compact SUV as it misses out a lot of features such as projector headlamps, chrome bar on the grille, fog lamps, LED DRLs, alloy wheels, turn indicators on ORVMs and the front bumper gets black plastic instead of the silver skid plate.

The metallic grey Maruti Vitara Brezza looks like a mid or top-end variant with all the features that were missing in the pearl white coloured compact SUV and it will be offered in 6 trims namely LDi, LDi (O), VDi, VDi (O) ZDi and ZDi+ of which the (O) variants will get an additional safety package that includes dual front airbags and ABS that are standard on the top-end variants.

All the variants of the Maruti Vitara Brezza will be powered by a 1.3-litre, four-cylinder, MultiJet diesel engine that produces 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the compact SUV will be sold via regular Maruti dealerships rather than NEXA outlets.
