BERLIN — Danish shingle Copenhagen Bombay has closed a raft of deals on Jacob Ley’s feature debut “Get Santa,” a Christmas-themed animated feature. The animated film was picked up by Signature Entertainment for the U.K, Les Film du Preau for France and Australia as well as New Zealand Universal Pictures. Previous sales were inked for Belgium, The Netherlands and the Nordic Countries.
“Get Santa” follows the journey of a little boy who enters a magic world and sets out to find Santa Clause. The film is produced by Copenhagen Bombay, whose track record includes Esben Toft Jacobsen’s “The Great Bear” and “Beyond Beyond.”
“Get Santa” is being made at Copenhagen Bombay’s studio in Copenhagen. Copenhagen Bombay will released it in October and November.
