Listen up Delhi! This Valentine's Day, chill at 'U/A' festival with Farhan Akhtar, Tanmay and Abish Mathew
OML brings to you U/A festival this weekend - a two day festival to make you groove to some good music and laugh your guts out with some of India's best stand-up comedians.Â
Only Much Louder (OML), the creators of Bacardi NH7 Weekender and Stage42 have come up with 'U/A', a festival that caters to people of all age groups, and is all set to give you a great musical experience along with a night full of laughter this weekend.
You can only imagine what happens when big names like Farhan Akhtar, Tanmay Bhat and Abish Mathew of AIB, and Florida based international YouTube sensations Boyce Avenue, come together to set the stage on fire. The first edition of the festival is a two day event and will kick off on February 13.

When asked why the festival is called U/A and how OML came up with this idea, CEO Vijay Nair said, "We have seen that over the years a lot of families also attend Nh7 Weekender but there's no dedicated outdoor festival experience for them," and added, "we wanted to build a festival that caters to people of all ages, where you can bring your kids and parents. Usually, the choices families have are restricted to malls - this will be a fun, safe proper festival experience for them."

The best thing about the festival is that it has something for everyone. From a Creator's Corner where you can assemble a solar-powered miniature car, try paper marbling, learn to play a ukulele, print 3-D structures, and experiment with illusionist's tricks to The Playground where you can create spin art, paint your best friend's face and unleash all your weirdness at the photo booth.
To give a treat to all the science geeks, there is a U/A lab as well where you can check out the Nitrogen-led science experiments and a fantastical bio-luminescent interactive installation. And no one goes without witnessing the 'magical floating market' where other-wordly creatures host stalls and sell wacky stuff. This will be one theatrical experience and you don't want to miss that!
A food and flea bazaar that will feature DIY makers, independent artists, and quirky collectibles. Retail therapy is the word for all your woes, and the place is right here.
If it could not get any better, Farhan Akhtar will be performing live and then there will be Florida based international YouTube sensations Boyce Avenue. They do amazing music covers, don't they?
And what's life without a little humour?
Your day will only get better when Tanmay Bhat, Abish Mathew and Biswa Kalyan Rath (remember Pretentious Movie Reviews?) come together and leave you in splits. Abish said he's prepared some unique content for the show and that he'd be around to catch Farhan and Boyce Avenue. Anuvab Pal who would open for Farhan Akhtar said he hopes to speak to kids about what annoys them about their parents, and speak to parents about what annoys them about their kids.
