A tribal woman farmer, Jadhav Renukabai, aged 46 years, from Kandva tanda village in Narnoor mandal of Adilabad district committed suicide by consuming pesticide at her residence on Thursday after cotton crop in the 8 acres she cultivated failed. She had incurred a debt of Rs. 4 lakh which became difficult to be repaid under the circumstance. According to police, Renukabai had taken 4 acres on lease. She consumed pesticide the previous evening and died at RIMS hospital on Thursday while undergoing treatment.
