Guv Solanki performs Saraswati puja

KURUKSHETRA, FEBRUARY 11

Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki today performed Saraswati puja at Jyotisar today. He said the initiative to rejuvenate Saraswati river would help in connecting the youth to rich their cultural heritage.

He also praised the efforts made by the Haryana Heritage Saraswati Development Board in creating awareness about Saraswati by organising heritage yatras and exhibitions.

Shun materialistic approach: Governor

Panipat: Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki inaugurated the Prayag International School here today. The Governor said “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” was the only solution to the challenges faced by the world. Emphasising the importance of quality education, he said society should shun materialistic approach and adopt the path of spirituality. He was accompanied by Cabinet Minister Krishan Lal Panwar, Panipat MLA Rohita Rewri, Panipat Rural MLA Mahipal Dhanda and Samalkha MLA Ravinder Machharoli. TNS
