Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Feb 11 2016 7:40PM Spotted deer killed, 1 held in OdishaKendrapara, Feb 11 (UNI) The Kanika Forest Range personnel have arrested one Nityananda Behera of Banakula village inside the Bhitar Kanika National Park under the Wildlife Protection Act,1972 on the charge of killing a spotted deer. Kanika forest range officer A K Nayak said Nityananda was arrested and produced before the JMFC court Rajnagar yesterday and the court remanded him to jail custody. Soon after the arrest, several women of Banakula village staged a demonstration in front of the Bhitarkanika national park gate demanding immediate release of Nityananda.
