Metro to cast first Noida station's roof

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will cast the roof of the first station along the 29-km Noida-Greater Noida Metro track on Thursday.

Noida: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will cast the roof of the first station along the 29-km Noida-Greater Noida Metro track on Thursday. This station is located in Sector 143 along the corridor adjoining the Noida-Greater Noida expressway.
The Noida-Greater Noida corridor has 21 elevated stations along its route, of which 15 stations fall in Noida and the remaining six stations fall in Greater Noida.
All these stations will be equipped with platform screen doors, a safety feature consisting of transparent doors that separate the tracks from platforms.
The train doors and platform doors will be aligned and open simultaneously after the train stops.
The stations will also support solar panels and rainwater harvesting facilities.
