Chan looks for copyright answers

Amid the stalemate over the copyright amendment bill, pro-Beijing lawmaker Chan Kam-lam, pictured, plans to arrange a four-sided meeting among pan democrats, the government, copyright owners and internet users next Wednesday.

At a spring reception he hosted yesterday, Chan said he would meet copyright owners on Monday. He called on pan-democrats to stop filibustering during the meeting to "demonstrate their sincerity."

Chan also hopes the Finance Committee would approve additional funding sought for the Guangzhou-Shenzhen- Hong Kong Express Rail Link.
