Fake currency: Duo sent to 14-day remand

Ahmedabad: Additional metropolitan magistrate, SM Kanabar, on Wednesday sent two accused persons to 14-day police remand in connection with the fake currency case.
The Special Operation Group (SOG) of city crime branch produced two accused Buddhu Mondal and Samir Mondal from Malda district of West Bengal after arresting them a day before after Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) were recovered from them.

Cops sought full remand of these accused on the ground that they suspected that the arrested might be a part of a bigger network of people involved in circulation of FICN on a large scale.
