Emergency repair work is being carried out at Uploders Road after part of it slipped away

Two landslides led to the closure of two roads in Dorset following heavy rain during recent storms.

A section of Uploders Road in Uploders has been shut after part of it slipped away. Emergency repair work is expected to take up to three weeks.

Gypsy Lane near Pymore, Bridport, closed between Pymore Road and the A3066 St Andrew's Road, after being blocked by about five tonnes of soil.

Dorset County Council said this had now been removed and the road had reopened.
